Least squares solutions of matrix equation \(AXB=E\), \(CXD=F\). (Chinese. English summary) Zbl 1098.15009

Summary: The author obtains the least squares solutions of the matrix equation \(AXB= E\), \(CXD=F\) by constructing the normal equation of the matrix equation and applying the generalized singular-value decomposition of the coefficient matrices.
