Karampetakis, N. P. On the discretization of singular systems. (English) Zbl 1059.93082 IMA J. Math. Control Inf. 21, No. 2, 223-242 (2004). Two discretization methods of a singular system are proposed. The first one is a state space discretization and the second one is a singular system discretization. The method is a zero-order hold discretization for input and first-order approximation of the derivatives of the input. The proposed sampled systems are described in terms of the Markov parameters of the system. The methods are illustrated by numerical examples and procedures in the “Mathematica” programming language.
