Málek, Michal Distributional chaos for continuous mappings of the circle. (English) Zbl 0963.37031 Ann. Math. Sil. 13, 205-210 (1999). Summary: We show that the theory of distributional chaos for continuous functions on the unit intervals as developed recently by B. Schweizer and J. Smítal [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 344, No. 2, 737-754 (1994; Zbl 0812.58062)] remains essentially true for continuous mapping of the circle, with natural exceptions.
