Summary: The submitted article aims to present possibility of how to teach geometric transformations in connection with visual arts. The author of the article believes that the simple art techniques can motivate and activate pupils in teaching of mathematics, regardless of their age and ability. Beside that, the non traditional tasks have an affect on the motivation of pupils, too. The topic of geometric transformations give us space to teach mathematics in interesting way and offer pupils to be creative.
