Summary: This study aims to contribute to the comprehension of the didactical knowledge of the teacher who teaches statistics at the secondary level, looking at the classroom practices of one teacher regarding statistics variation. Results stress the intertwined character of the various domains of the teacher’s didactical knowledge, giving evidence of a strong relationship between the teacher’s knowledge of statistics variation and the level of depth by which she approaches this concept in the classroom.
