Sangaku mathematics as a holy show. (Sangaku la matematica come spettacolo sacro.) (Italian. English summary)
Boll. Docenti Mat. 72, 34-40 (2016).
Summary: Sangaku are votive tablets with mathematical subjects like problems or theorems, drawn by mathematicians-artists in Japan from 18th to 20th century. They were hung in temples and sanctuaries in the whole country, but their exact function isn’t surely understood. Here some examples of problems are discussed as stimulating themes for teachers.
