Starting with an infinitely large matrix, where all decimal fractions smaller than 1 are arranged below the diagonal, those greater than 1 above the diagonal, the article examines unending sequences of equivalent fractions referred to as Unending Fractional Operations (UFOs), which gives an unusual approach to the approximation of roots and transcendental numbers, i.e. irrational numbers.
