Mathematics down under. (English)
SYMmetryplus, No. 53, 5-6 (2014).
The article presents some counterintuitive results in mathematics, such as the function $f(x)=\frac{1}{x}$ for $x\ge 1$, where the area enclosed below the curve and above the $x$-axis turns out to be infinite, but the corresponding volume of revolution of this area about the $x$-axis is finite.
