The linear algebra. A beginning graduate student ought to know. 2nd ed. (English)
Dordrecht: Springer (ISBN 1-4020-5494-7/pbk). xii, 436~p. (2007).
This book was first published in 2004 as a Kluwer Text in the Mathematical Sciences and was reviewed in {\it J. S. Golan} [The linear algebra. A beginning graduate student ought to know. Dordrecht: Kluwer Academic Publishers (2004; Zbl 1048.15002)]. Now, only three years later, the second edition has been published by Springer, which certainly testifies to the success of this book as a comprehensive textbook on linear algebra. It has been extensively revised and will continue to be very useful for self-study, as a textbook for advanced linear algebra courses, and for reference purposes.
