Summary: We present and analyse some types of research about the impact of information and communication technologies in the classroom, in the attitudes of the students toward mathematics and toward the use of the computer. Later on, we will show the results obtained referring to the attitudes of the students and their disposition toward mathematics and the use of the computer, in an experimental study that we carried out on fourteen 8‒10 year old students in a state school in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, where mathematical games for computers are used as a resource for the teaching and learning of mathematics in primary school.
