Philos. Math. Educ. J., No. 24, 16 p., electronic only (2009).
The article contains an epic literary text that starts with a father telling his daughter a bedtime story from ancient Persia leading in its core to a problem which is in reality also known as the seven bridges of Königsberg by Leonhard Euler. The daughter realizes and reveals this in a letter to her father. In the appendix she presents him the original writing Solution of a problem belonging to the “Geometry of position” by Euler in a modern English translation.
