This second edition of Mathematical Olympiad Challenges [for the 2000 first edition, see the review in Zbl 0958.00004; ME 2000f.04815] contains not only new enriching examples, but is organized specifically for learning. This is mainly obtained by discussions preceding all 30 units of the book with well chosen examples inviting the reader to access the challenges. The feedback from the readers of the first edition has played an important role for including new references and intriguing remarks.
