Summary: In the article, several illustrations of how technology might be used to engage students in conceptual conversations and, consequently, to foster students’ understandings and intuitions are presented and discussed in three examples: Viewing the relationships in a system of equations; Exploring images of fit in a best-fit line; Using dynamically linked models to generate explanations (sine function behavior).
