Construction of a golden rectangle with a given area. (English)

A golden rectangle is a rectangle whose length to width ratio is $(1+\sqrt 5)/2$ to 1. The author describes a ruler-and-compass construction for converting a given square into golden rectangle whose area is equal to that of the square.
