Why does a truck so often get stuck in our underpass? (English)
Consortium, No. 86, 3-4 (2004).
Roads leading to underpasses usually have a sign indicating the clearance. Yet it happens that trucks get stuck. The author develops a model in order to demonstrate for a special situation (steet uphill) that this might neither be the highway department’s nor the truck driver’s fault but can be caused by the fact that trucks have gotten longer.
