Summary: The aim of this paper is to introduce a LOGO-based educational environment called GEOMLAND or Plane Geometry System (PGS). It is most appropriate for 13-16 year old students. Using PGS students work like real mathematicians - they explore and develop mathematical ideas themselves. GEOMLAND also creates a specific class-room culture supporting teachers' and students' creativity. An example of students' mathematics in investigation based on the PGS is described in the article. The paper also deals with some of the problems of learning geometry by the exploration and discovery, and the teachers' involvement in the use of the PGS in school.
