Summary: This paper sets out our experience as tutors in the practicum for secondary teaching. We give a brief description of the tasks carried out by tutors and students from the moment students arrive at the school until the end of the period of practical work. We shall see how the students get a firsthand experience of teachers' work, how they are able to attend different meetings, assessment sessions, the information they get on how the school works, the different groups they'll be working with, the forms of assessment and how to prepare, programme and carry out mathematics classes at a secondary school.

Resumen: En este art\'\i culo podr\'as conocer nuestra experiencia como tutores del pr\'acticum de secundaria. Haremos una breve descripci\'on de las tareas que tutores y pr\'acticos llevamos a cabo, desde el momento en que estos se incorporan al centro hasta la finalizaci\'on de este periodo de pr\'acticas. Veremos como los pr\'acticos viven en primera persona la labor del profesorado, c\'omo tienen acceso a las diversas reuniones, sesiones de evaluaci\'on, la informaci\'on que reciben sobre el funcionamiento del Centro, de los distintos grupos con los que trabajar\'an, de la forma de evaluar y de c\'omo se preparan, programan y desarrollan las clases de matem\'aticas en un instituto de ense\~nanza secundaria.
