This is a user-friedly textbook with a wide selection of worked examples, progress exercises with solutions, test exercises, and a lot of real-world applications. The text refers to Excel, but it also can be used without touching on the Excel sections. Here is the contents: Mathematical preliminaries, the straight line, simultaneous equations, nonlinear functions, financial mathematics, differentiation, functions of several variables, integration, linear algebra, difference equations, all chapters with applications. All in all a remarkable book, and I would warmly recommend it for students of economics and business.
