By engaging with problems members of the group seek to unravel the processes that lead to resolution. The theme set, the accounts by members describe the experience of being immersed in mathematical thinking, of being challenged to think ``outside their personal mathematical box", of having to justify conclusions, and of having the opportunity to `live' mathematics for a while.
