The paper presents an alternative geometrical approach to a quadratic equation using a pair of compasses and a ruler. After an algebraic analysis of a general quadratic equation, a possible geometrical solution is outlined. The author is aware that this method is rather time consuming and not very effective, but it offers another view on the solution to quadratic equations.
