ab: The paper investigates the design of a metacognition questionnaire on
mathematics problem solving given to normal college students. Analysis
of the data showed: (1) Metacognition on mathematics problem solving
among normal college student was different. (2) As far as the overall
level on metacognition was concerned, girl studentsâ€™ did better than
boy studentsâ€™; grade 3 was significantly more excellent than grade 2
and grade 1; grade 2 was a key stage. (3) As far as overall level,
metacognition knowledge, metacognition experience, self-evaluation,
self-reflection, self-controlling was concerned, excellent student did
better than backward student.
