The article briefly presents some of the more advanced things Euler did, such as his \lq\lq 4 squares identity\rq\rq , Euler\rq s proofs of several theorems by Fermat, the introduction of several new functions into mathematics, and his contributions for applied mathematics, especially the calculus of variations. In the end, a few comments are made on the gigantic extent of Euler\rq s mathematical work.
