ab: Summary: Since the past ten years, the “Math Education Research Group" of
Catania University carries out activities both on research and on class
experiments with/for teachers and students. Particular attention is
given to teaching/learning geometry with technologies. These activities
start with the search for new properties of elementary geometry that
are then used to design proposals for innovative teaching in secondary
school; then, after writing with teachers the classrooms worksheets, a
teaching experiment is conducted in class and the results (in terms of
students protocols, videos, teachers log books \dots) are analysed. We
present here some of these activities.
