The article contains an epic literary text that starts with a father telling his daughter a bedtime story from ancient Persia leading in its core to a problem which is in reality also known as the seven bridges of K\"onigsberg by Leonhard Euler. The daughter realizes and reveals this in a letter to her father. In the appendix she presents him the original writing Solution of a problem belonging to the ``Geometry of position'' by Euler in a modern English translation.
