Summary: We can use exponential function to model a wide variety of realworld phenomena. The curve represents exponential growth, it grows very slowly in the beginning, then accelerates continually faster and finally grows in an almost vertical fashion. In the physical realm, this growth pattern usually occurs where there is sickness, often leading to death. In the economic systems, this exponential growth has wide application. Thinking in dimensions exponential models is absolutely necessary in today's economic world. The paper deals with the solution of selected economic problems  growth of money at continuous compound interest. We created the interactive figures by software GeoGebra. We pointed out the undisputed connection between mathematics and economics. The students of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra can benefit from such teaching materials in the learning management system Moodle.
