City) 24, No. 1, 35-71 (2012).} \itemab Summary: The description and evaluation of the implementation of a computer assisted didactic activities sequence is presented, which promotes the construction of meaning about the derivative function. We worked with students in the first differential and integral calculus course, at the division of engineering of the University of Sonora, in order to set up, based on the local linearity notion and the use of a dynamic software, a first introduction to that particular mathematical object, that will let us work subsequently with it through limits. To be able to achieve this, we use some of the theoretical notions of the onto-semiotic approach to the mathematical cognition and instruction. \itemrv{~} \itemab Resumen: En este trabajo se presenta la descripci\'on y la valoraci\'on de la implementaci\'on de una secuencia de actividades did\'acticas asistidas por computadora que promueven la construcci\'on de significado en torno a la funci\'on derivada. Se trabaj\'o con alumnos del primer curso de c\'alculo diferencial e integral de la divisi\'on de Ingenier\'{\i}a de la Universidad de Sonora, buscando constituir, desde la noci\'on de linealidad local y con la ayuda de un software interactivo, una primera introducci\'on a este objeto matem\'atico que favorezca su tratamiento posterior a trav\'es de l\'{\i}mites.
