ab: An automatic differentiation technique is presented in order to perform the
sensitivity analysis relating to the influence of shape parameter
changes on the solution of a partial differential equation. The
significant improvement in the computational effort (the floating point
operations, the amount of space allocated, the accuracy of the
approximate solution) is demonstrated by examples.
