Theory and applications. Heidelberg: Physica-Verlag. Stud. Fuzziness Soft Comput. 40, 314-332 (2000). The reviewed paper deals with the problem of decision-making under uncertainty where the preference scale is expressed by qualitative evaluation of alternatives. The main attention is focused to the axiomatic framework of the theory justificating the suggested and intuitivity acceptable concept of the utility derived by means of the fuzzy (Sugeno) integrals as a qualitative counterpart to the averaging operation used in the deterministic decision-making problem. By means of this axiomatization the classical concepts of the decision-making under uncertainty are generalized and their structure is formalized. For the entire collection see [Zbl 0935.00014].
