On codes with finite interpreting delay: a defect theorem.

In this paper so called {\it codes with finite interpreting delay\/} are defined. The main specificity of these codes consists in avoiding several interpretations. It has been shown that each code with finite interpreting delay is circular and satisfies an extension of the defect theorem.
