Bounds for ratios of modified Bessel functions. (English)

The author presents an algorithm for calculating bounds for the ratio $(I_{\nu+1} (x)/I_\nu (x))$ for $\nu>-1$ and $x>0$ using the theory of continued fractions. The author finds a sequence of lower and upper bounds which are more effective and simple compared with other known bounds.
