This paper is devoted to studying the uniqueness problem for a Markov chain with stable and conservative Q-matrix such that $q_{i,i+j}=0$ for any $j \ge 2$ (single birth process). Uniqueness theorems are obtained for continuous-time process and for the discrete-time analog of the process.
