The universal Vassiliev-Kontsevich invariant for framed oriented links. (English)

Summary: We give a generalization of the Reshetikhin-Turaev functor for tangles to get a combinatorial formula for the Kontsevich integral for framed oriented links. The rationality of the Kontsevich integral is established. Many properties of the universal Vassiliev-Kontsevich invariant are discussed. Connections to invariants coming from quantum groups and to multiple zeta functions are explained.
