Delaleau, Emmanuel; Fliess, Michel Structure algorithm, filtrations and decoupling. (Algorithme de structure, filtrations et découplage.) (French. English summary) Zbl 0791.68113 C. R. Acad. Sci., Paris, Sér. I 315, No. 1, 101-106 (1992). Summary: The main properties of the structure algorithm, which is so important in understanding input-output inversion, can be given an elegant translation into the algebraic language of filtrations. This is utilized for demonstrating that any right-invertible system can be decoupled via a quasi-static state feedback, which does not require the integration of any differential equation.
