A boundary value problem for the polyharmonic equation in the unit ball in \(\mathbb{R}^ n\) is studied. The boundary value problem is of a special type; some conditions are prescribed on the normal derivative of the solution. Some necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a solution are given and a form of the solution is stated. Also the problem of uniqueness is studied.
