Varshalovich, D.A.; Moskalev, A.N.; Khersonskij, V.K.
Quantum theory of angular momentum. Irreducible tensors, spherical harmonics, vector coupling coefficients, $3nj$ symbols. Transl. from the Russian.
(English. Russian original)

Having grown up with the slim book by Edmonds, I found the size of this handbook at first quite enormous. But the authors did a very good job of collecting and compiling the ample material on the subject of irreducible tensors, spherical harmonics, vector coupling coefficients and $3nj$ symbols $(n=1,2,3,4)$. Although without proofs (but mostly with references), the accompanying text is rather exhaustive, so that the book is easy to read and things you need are easy to find. Tables comparing different definitions used by different authors are helpful, too. At the end the graphical method - with all definitions and rules arranged in tables - is presented in detail.\par [The Russian original was published by Nauka, Leningrad (1975)]
