History of Sylow's theorem and of its proofs. (Italian)

The authors study types of proofs of the Sylow theorems in the framework of the evolution of group theory beginning from the fundamental contributions of Cauchy and Galois. The methods of proof indicate the passage from groups visualized only as permutation groups (with a prevalent attention to the symmetric group) to abstract groups considered up to isomorphisms.
