[For the entire collection see Zbl 0635.00006.] Recent work on triangle varieties is examined under all its aspects and given an exhaustive and coherent treatment [see e.g. the author and R. Speiser, Commun. Algebra 12, 1213-1255 (1984; Zbl 0648.14029) and 14, 155-191 (1986; Zbl 0648.14030) and recent work by Collino and Fulton]. – - New results in this paper relate to intersection pairings on the parameter variety for triangles with one side omitted, to a review ann a new proof of some of Schubert’s calculations and to the question whether some specific triangle varieties are isomorphic. All of these require too many technical details to be described in a short review.
