Symmetrization of second-order vector hyperbolic equation with two space variables. (English. Russian original) Zbl 0613.35045

Second order hyperbolic vector equations with two or one boundary conditions are considered in the work. Mixed problems with uniform Lopatinskij boundary condition are derived and it is shown that such problems are solutions of some symmetric hyperbolic system via Friedrichs with dissipative conditions.
