Analyse de la différence entre deux mesures définies sur le produit de deux mêmes ensembles.
(French)
[J] Cah. Anal. Données 8, 325-329 (1983). ISSN 0339-3097

Summary: In order to compare any two measures $f\sb{IJ}$ and $f'\sb{IJ}$ defined on the same product $I\times J$ of two sets, we generalize correspondence analysis (which may be viewed as the comparison of a measure $f\sb{IJ}$ to the measure $f\sb I\otimes f\sb J$, the product of the marginals). We construct two clouds representing the differences between the "rows" (respectively, the "columns") of the two measures and we project them onto their axes of inertia. The projections of these two clouds are each derived using "transition formulas". We derive a simultaneous representation of I and of J. A classical correspondence analysis program allows the results to be obtained if the marginals on I and on J of the two measures are equal to one another.
