Construction of elliptic solutions to the quintic complex one-dimensional Ginzburg-Landau equation.

[A] Mladenov, Iva\"ilo (ed.) et al., Proceedings of the 8th international conference on geometry, integrability and quantization, Sts. Constantine and Elena, Bulgaria, June 9--14, 2006. Sofia: Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. 322-333 (2007). ISBN 978-954-8495-37-0/pbk

Summary: The Conte-Musette method has been modified for the search of only elliptic solutions to systems of differential equations. A key idea of this a priory restriction is to simplify calculations by means of the use of a few Laurent series solutions instead of one and the use of the residue theorem. The application of our approach to the quintic complex one-dimensional Ginzburg-Landau equation (CGLE5) allows us to find elliptic solutions in the wave form. We also find restrictions on coefficients, which are necessary conditions for the existence of elliptic solutions to the CGLE5.
