A generalized integral inequality for twice differentiable mappings. (English) Zbl 1274.26078

Summary: A general form of an integral inequality of Ostrowski type for twice differentiable mappings whose second derivatives are bounded and whose first derivatives are absolutely continuous is established. The generalized integral inequality exhibits some better estimates than some already known bounds. The inequality is applied to numerical integration and special means.
