A unique common fixed point theorem for four maps in cone metric spaces.

A proof is given of a unique common fixed point result for four mappings acting in a cone metric space (in the sense of {\it L.-G. Huang} and {\it X. Zhang} [J. Math.\ Anal.\ Appl.\ 332, No.\ 2, 1468--1476 (2007; Zbl 1118.54022)]) over a normal cone. The contractive condition is of the Hardy-Rogers type. No examples are given.
