Mathematical modeling and dynamics of HIV progression and treatment.

Summary: This article presents a brief review of the modeling and dynamics of HIV infections in vivo. We introduce typical mathematical models for the interaction between CD4$^+$ T-cells and virus particles, as well as for drug therapy. We focus on theoretical results and simulations of ODEs, DDEs, integro-differential equations and impulsive differential equations. The parameter values of these models are given in a table for reader's references.
