On some operator algebras generated by unilateral weighted shifts. (English)

The authors present a functional model of $n$-tuples of unilateral weighted shifts and making use of this model they give a necessary and sufficient condition in order that the operator algebra generated by such an $n$-tuple be isometrically isomorphic to the corresponding polydisc algebra.
