Demiclosedness principle with applications for asymptotically pseudo-contractions in Hilbert spaces.
(English)
[J] Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl., Ser. A, Theory Methods 70, No. 9, A, 3140-3145 (2009). ISSN 0362-546X

Author's abstract: In the present paper, we establish a demiclosedness principle for asymptotically pseudo-contractions in Hilbert spaces. As applications, we obtain a new fixed point theorem as well as some weak and strong convergence theorems for asymptotically pseudo-contractions. The results of this paper are interesting extensions of known results.
