The linguistic computational models based on index of linguistic label. (English)

Summary: From the practical point of view, it is not always possible for the user to define a fuzzy set for each linguistic label. In such a situation, indexing of linguistic labels is an alternative method for dealing with linguistic information directly. In this paper, the relationship between linguistic labels and their indices is analyzed. Then, linguistic computational models based on natural number indices of linguistic labels are reviewed. For a linguistic computational model based on fuzzy number indices of linguistic labels, arithmetic mean $F_e$ and linguistic weighted average $F_l^w$ operators are defined.
