A trick for investigation of approximate derivations. (English) Zbl 1196.39017

Summary: We utilize the notion of module extension to reduce the problem of stability of derivations to that of ring homomorphisms studied by R. Badora [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 276, No. 2, 589–597 (2002; Zbl 1014.39020)] in the context of Banach bimodules over Banach algebras.
