Exact solution for nonlinear Schrödinger equation by He's frequency formulation. (English)

Summary: We apply He's frequency formulation to search for the solution to nonlinear Schrödinger equation. Three examples are given and the solutions obtained are in good accordance with {\it A.-M. Wazwaz}'s solution [A study on linear and nonlinear Schrodinger equations by the variational iteration method, Chaos Solitons Fractals 37, No. 4, 1136--1142 (2008)]. It is shown that He's frequency formulation is of utter straightforward and effective.
