Common fixed point theorems in symmetric spaces employing a new implicit function and common property (E.A). (English) Zbl 1188.47044

The authors prove common fixed point theorems for weakly compatible maps which satisfy the common property (E.A.) and a generalized inequality involving special implicit functions.
