Marković, Olivera Hopf algebras of words and overlapping shuffle algebra. (English) Zbl 1182.16029 Kragujevac J. Math. 30, 315-326 (2007). Editorial comment: The paper is substantially plagiarised from two sources, one of them being the paper “Some Hopf algebras of words” by M. D. Crossley [Glasg. Math. J. 48, No. 3, 575-582 (2006; Zbl 1115.16018)], the other being “Generalized overlapping shuffle algebras” by M. Hazewinkel [J. Math. Sci., New York 106, No. 4, 3168-3186 (2001; Zbl 1168.16306)]. More precisely, pages 317-322 of Marković’s paper are almost word for word identical with pages 575-578 of Crossley’s paper, and pages 322-325 of Marković’s paper are almost word for word identical with pages 3168-3172 of Hazewinkel’s paper. As a result, the editors of Kragujevac J. Math. have decided to retract the paper and to make the electronic version inaccessible.
